Since 18:00 this evening, registrations are open for the second edition of Barcamp Ghent. The event is organised according to the philosophy of user generated conferences. This “unconference” conference has no agenda, no list of speakers or no formal registration process. Attendees shape the event themselves by adding their name to the wiki page.
Some people give a presentation, others arrange T-shirt sponsoring and yet others just come to hang out with the geeky boys and girls. The conference does not really have a subject, but if you want to learn what’s hot or not in the internet, you definately need to attend.
Besides this, there’s also the social factor: if you spend half your live behind a PC, you need these events to be reminded of how a room full of people can create a vibe that inspires and unites.
What do you think, should City Live sponsor the T-shirts for this edition?

Kodel,
